I've always shared my life with rescued animals and there's always some guilt because I can't rescue them all so your post resonated with me. You're right, though, we can only do what we can. While I'd like to take in more I have to live within my ability to care for them so I concentrate on making those that live with me as happy and comfortable as I can.
